Hi all, I believe the Chamber of Minerals is working on registrations for WHS and Emergency Services professionals currently. There is also a coalition of Australian mines rescue committee that met recently in Perth and an AFAC Advisory Committee that is being assembled to be the voice of 10,000 mining emergency services workers across the commodities in Australia. 🔥 training day 🔥

Little bits from one of our fire OPs training days this week. Couldn’t film too much due to getting down and dirty but we smashed it 💪🏻

Nice strong work there! Looks like you all went in clean and came out dirty, just make sure you don’t contaminate your appliance & station with carcinogens that might be harmful post fire. Especially after exposure to the resultant chemicals from burning a car. Check out some decon processes👌👌

Check out ANZCOR Guideline 9.1.6 before considering any rigid (which the KED is considered) spinal immobilisation. Specifically: “Spinal immobilisation can expose victims to risks associated with specific devices and the time taken in application leads to delays in transport”
