G’day,
I’m Ben Church a career Firefighter and Industrial Rescue Trainer.
I started Mines Emergency & Rescue back in 2011 and absolutely love it! Enough so to start training the onsite rescue teams.
In 2017 I was lucky enough to join DFES and I’m now a Senior Firefighter here in Perth, Australia.
My focus is on:
- Training and development through leadership and situational awareness
- New innovations and technologies which make our jobs better, easier and safer
- Building teams to respond to critical situations
- Rescue competition training
- Advancing my career by learning as much as possible
