G’day Team, Rescue Connect was founded to connect rescue workers from all over the world. At the start it was a massive undertaking and a real growth journey for me personally as a person who ran his own safety company, trained personally and through the company that I founded, over 20,000 students and many other related ventures such as writing a rescue scenario book. Why do I do this..? I am very passionate abut my industry, saving lives through education and awareness and seeing people grow around me. This application was my attempt at doing that. It was deliberately free, but cost me a lot! Not just in money, but also time. Essentially, I am at a cross roads on deciding to keep the mobile application open or not. It costs me to keep things running and I either need to charge for membership or, close the web app down. The content posted is deliberately aimed at bing non-prescriptive and suggestive in nature to stimulate conversations and growth (in short). But noticing a lock of engagement I need to assess if it is worth it for me financially. YOU CAN HELP: Just let me know if you’re using the platform to connect with members and gain information about your industry and chosen profession. Tell me why you post, or don’t post and what you think RC should be and what you see its potential as. If I don’t get much or enough feedback, I’ll know it’s time to just have this as a web application.
