MYANMAR RESCUE @MYANMARRESCUE
Hello everyone,
I am proud to join this community as a rescue worker from Myanmar.
Our country faces diverse challenges, from seasonal flooding and cyclones in the delta and coastal regions to the risk of earthquakes along major fault lines. In recent years, we have seen an increase in the frequency and intensity of these natural disasters, often compounded by local geographical challenges.
In Myanmar, the heart of our rescue efforts lies in the spirit of volunteerism and community-based response. When disaster strikes, local rescue teams and civil society organizations are often the first on the ground. Despite limited resources and equipment, our rescuers work tirelessly with great courage—performing water rescues during floods, providing first aid, and managing emergency evacuations.
I am here to connect with fellow professionals, share my field experiences from Myanmar, and learn about international standards and new technologies in the EMS and Rescue world. My goal is to bring back valuable knowledge to better serve my community and enhance our local rescue capabilities.
Looking forward to engaging and learning with you all!
Best regards,
Myanmar Rescue organization Yangon
