Found that really beneficial cheers Jesse, as a newbie who’s just stepping into this field it can feel overwhelming the task I have ahead to get to a level of confidence and I’m sure I speak for others when I say guidance, encouragement and community is a blessing.
All great points and 2 key points that stood out to me are
- settling into a role and ignoring the noise that comes with any workplace, to create congruency not only for your own learning but for the good of the site dynamic.
- It is an absolute honour to be trusted with others lives and we need to work together as a family with one motivation, making a safer workplace so everyone goes home to their families. I assume we are all here for the same core reason, to use our special skillset to help make a difference in the community. We have a responsibility to ourselves and our families, our team and those in our care to ensure we can show up in our best capacity, committed to continued development of our craft and to fostering a culture that encourages growth and pride.
I’m excited and feeling privileged to step into this role and the next chapter of my life and peer guidance is a valuable asset to the culture and community. Really looking forward to meeting and learning from other good people who have chosen to dedicate their lives to the safety and wellbeing of others.
Thanks brother, I know you spend a lot of time and energy creating this content and it’s so valuable and welcomed 🙏🏼
