Emergency Response is about one thing at its core - community driven purpose. We’re all a part of something bigger than ourselves. We’re people of servitude who’re called upon to step up and help people in times of need. Without a strong, supportive and caring team around us - this just isn’t possible. In turn, we’re rewarded with the honour and gift of being someone’s guardian angels when they need us the most. It can often go unnoticed, under appreciated and even forgotten. This year at #MERC we get a chance to see and appreciate this undertaking that all rescue personnel are tasked with on a daily basis. For all those involved in our truely remarkable community, I thank you for your service to our community. Never forget how important your roles are in all capacities. From suppliers, support staff, volunteers, trainers, supervisors, technicians, ESO’s, medical staff, ERT members and all of our families and friends who support us.
